The Blount County Public Library
What is it?
Well, it is not your typical library! Here you will find something for any age from a friendly children's area to a state of the art adult section. The Blount County Public Library offers a great audio visual section, a well equipped genealogy research department, ample study space, there is even a coffee cafe! For a small fee, the library offers conference rooms to the public for group organization meetings. The library sponsors many programs and activities for all ages. Our library makes it easy, fun and exciting to broaden our knowledge base in an attractive relaxing environment. If you are in "the need to know" then this is where you need to go!

The Knoxville Zoo
What is it?
There is always something new and to do at the Knoxville Zoo! The mission of Knoxville Zoological Gardens is to celebrate the wonders of the natural world. Through education, conservation, exhibition, research and recreation, the zoo will tell the stories of the animals, the plants and the people who make up the communities of the earth. The zoo will develop positive attitudes and actions about nature and about conservation as a local and global issue.

Gatlinburg

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra
What is it?Today, under Lucas Richman's direction, the Knoville Symphony Orchestra is recognized as one of the finest regional orchestras in the United States. Pigeon Forge
What is it?
Pigeon Forge is a tourist location with something to do for everyone. Visitors can find many outlet shopping malls, amusement playgrounds, dinner theaters, an abundance of restaurants and many fabulous places to stay. This is not a one day area. you need to plan a week or at minimum a weekend to visit this area.

Women's Basketball Hall of Fame
What is it?
East Tennessee and specifically Knoxville, TN is home to one of the most award winning Women's College Basketball teams in history, The Lady Vols. There is no better place than this area to honor Women's Basketball Greats. Lady Vols long-time Coach, Pat Head-Summit calls Knoxville home and is honored in the basketball hall of fame. If you are a basketball fan, player, coach or enthusiast, you must take a day to go visit the Hall of Fame.
